Key Roles

It is suggested that the following roles are in place to ensure holistic pupil participation:

• A senior member of staff responsible for creating, developing and overseeing the Pupil Participation Policy;
• A designated Governor with responsibility for monitoring the policy and liaising with the school council and Associate Pupil Governors;
• A Pupil Participation Link Teacher with responsibility for pupil voice across the school, including representative pupil bodies such as the School Council, Eco-committee, Healthy Schools Group and Peer Mentors.
