Training for Professionals - Overview

On this page you will find an overview of the training materials, so that you can see at a glance which activities you should run to meet the needs of your audience, and what related resources you need to prepare.

Each activity is described in terms of:

• Its number and title;
• It’s purpose;
• Resource to prepare (contained in the pack immediately after the trainer’s sheets);
• Handouts (also contained within the pack); and
• Web-links (colour-coded according to which Theme they link to).

The overview also contains Suggested Pathways through the Materials – that is suggestions as to which themes and activities trainers can use, according to the level of knowledge and understanding of their audience, and a suggested programme for a one-day training event. The training materials are designed to be flexible, however, and we hope that you will use them imaginatively, according to the time and resources at your disposal.
