Sometimes we need people to help us to promote and develop effective participation. On this section of the site you will find a list of people and organisations who can support you through information, advice and training, including local contacts.

Opportunities for children and young people to participate in decisions that affect them are wider than at the individual school level. You will find here contact details for your local youth forum or council, and for Funky Dragon, the Children and Young People’s Assembly for Wales.

One of the most useful ways of accessing help and support is by networking with other schools in your area. For examples of how some schools have done this, look under the “Sharing Good Practice” section of the case studies.
